Went around my parents in-laws for easter Sunday. Had a great meal and lovely time. Maria enjoys being with her grandparents because of the attentions that she gets! Lucky girl! She starts to grab the dangling things on the play gym (she grabbed Ollie the Octopus), I am sure Sammy the Starfish and Tommy the Tortoise felt left out. By the way, the character naming was done by Julie...hehe. You can tell she is very experienced in children activity. Maria starts to roll over as well but stops half way through.... he he. Not sure what to do I guess.

Facial Expressions

Maria will be 10 weeks on wednesday....how time flies but I managed to capture evry little facial expressions that she did so that I have something to look at when I want to think of her as a little baby! She is so cute or "comel" as we say it in Malay language! But, every mums think their babies are cute! Oh well!!

Went to Rod's and Julie's on Sunday for a lovely sunday dinner. Sarah and Nick were there too, so all the grandchildren were there, enough to bring havoc to the house. Managed to get a photo of Maria with her English cousins, will need a massive camera if to fit all her Malaysian cousins, she has 27!!!! She will see them in October hopefully for Eid celebration.
Anyway, I haven't managed to share my feelings for being a mum yet, a lot of my friends has asked me about this. I have to say it is the most beautiful feeling in this world, your own artwork with the blessing from God. Even with the lack of sleep and constant screaming and crying (on her bad days), one look at her face make me realise how lucky I am to have her and having Steve as the dad, I could not wish for a better husband for myself and loving dad to my baby. Plus, I have got a loving parent-in-laws and grandparents for Maria , which makes my life a bit more easier to cope as my beloved parents are thousands of miles away.

Attended my graduation day in the University of Birmingham on the 9th of December 2005. MY beloved husband, parents and parents-in law attended the ceremony. It was such a lovely feeling.Everybody enjoyed the ceremony eventhough the weather is a bit cold. Went to Birmingham city centre to view the canal waterworks after the ceremony...

Visiting Shakespeare's Biirthplace

Went to Stratford-Upon-Avon to visit the bithplace of the world's well known Shakespeare. Went on the double decker tour bus for an hour and managed to see Shakepeare's house, his mum's house and also his wife's house....Weather was cold but very sunny....

Hari raya Party, Bicester
|

Went to Hari Raya Party organised by Malay UK on the 6th of November. Made a lot of new friends... Great work Malay UK!! Keep it up!!
Teri and David came over on Friday (5th November) and we have to prepare kuah kacang for the event... that was the first tiome i attempted to do it but with my mum's recipe and teri's help...we managed to produced a good quality kuah kacang!!Woohooo!!!

Rodney's 60th B'day Party
|
|
Went to Rodney's 60th B'day Party on Saturday 12th of October. Attended by his family, close friends and also Pyrol staffs.
Had great fun with the karaoke machine, the lads had pool tournament and there were disco dancing and some serious Irish jigging from the Pyrol staff! It was a great party and the food was excellent!!
