Taiping's waterfall

Maria had a rather weird and exciting experience splashing at taiping's waterfall.... we had to walk through a bit of tropical jungle before we got to the open space of clear water that flows down from Maxwell Hill in Taiping (Height of just over 1000m).... Steve was a bit worried about the wild life...(snakes etc..) can't blame him though, he's not used to it. Thought, I show maria where we always go as kids...

Hari Raya/ Eid
|
|
Celebrated hari Raya (as the Malays call it) or Eid in my lovely hometwn Taiping. WEnt back a week beforehand and managed to help mum out with a bit of pre Raya shopping... Weather was hot but rains in the afternoon which sometimes help to cool us down. Maria loves to be a round her Malay cousins....uncles and aunties... why not! She got the most attention!! He he....Here some photos shot on Hari Raya itself at my mum's/sister's.
To Ayee, sorry brother, I've deleted most of the photos and didn't realise I've deleted the one with you and maria at mak's house. I have printed it out though!

Minnie's First B'day

It has been a while since the last photos updated. I have been busy... seriously! So, family and friends in malysia and the rest of the world.. sorry for the late update..!! This is one on Minnie's First Birthday... Sarah (my sis in law) just moved house a week ago, and everything is a bit chaotic around the house... but party went great!! I love Fifi and the Flowertots' cake!!

England played Ecuador on Sunday and I decided to put the baby football kits on maria..She looks like boy..hehehe.... Anyway... England is going to the quarter final now..Will they survive? We hope so.....

Tea Party

Had a tea party at Rod and Julie on Sunday... Maria's cousins were there as well. It has been a while since we last saw them... Minnie got chicken pox...therefore we tried to quarantine her from Maria...hehehe
Had fun... Great family get together...

It was warm again on Sunday, so I put on a linen outfit for Maria courtesy of Grandma Julie... She look lovely in it... She got it for maria from Zara in Spain....Oh..very thougtfl..Thanks Julie!

Picnic in the park

We went to Bosworth Water park for a family day..hehehe (just the three of us!) on Saturday ...Lovely weather but we didn't go there to get a tan as I am tan enough (more like bronze!!) and Steve will get his tan during golfing... Maria was totally covered with her lovely hat and parasol! The funny thing was, Steve and I were fighting for shade from Maria's parasol...We are worried about staying too long under the sun...Very nasty for your skin...Well anyway, we had fun...Maria slept for more than an hour...Steve listened to his radio (it was England-Jamaica friendly game) and I had a peaceful time reading the Da Vinci Code.....what a relaxing afternoon....
